Henry David Thoreau wrote that the Forget-Me-Not is one of the most interesting flowers, because of its small size and beauty. The Forget-Me-Not Flower Fairy captures the words of Thoreau and she brings splendor to the miniature garden. Wearing a purple flowered dress, this fairy is kneeling on a bed of Armeria, while gazing at a stem of purple and blue flowers. This hand-painted fairy, brings the meaning of "true love and remembrance" to the fairy garden. The English novelist and illustrator Cicely Mary Barker composed several children's publications relating to imagination along with world of flower fairies. The pictures included in her books were the creative idea for the hand-painted fairies and the Forget-Me-Not Fairy was illustrated in the Flower Fairies of the Summer book. (Note: Miniatures are small items that pose potential choking hazards to small children. They are not toys. Any accessories pictured are not included, for illustrative purposes only.)
